Can’t Decide Used Iseries Server Or Pseries?
I am trying to decide if I should buy the used iseries servers or the pseries servers. I know that they are both good servers but the prices are a little different for them. I can get one of the pseries servers that are brand new for the same price as a used iseries server. Now, the iseries has more bays and it does come with a guarantee.
I am just not sure if it is wise to put a used server into a brand new company. I would hate to get the used iseries server in and have something go wrong with it when we are just getting the business up and running. I have also thought that if we go with the pseries, then if it worked well and we wanted to expand then it would be capable of handling it.
The pseries server will be new right out of the box and also comes with a guarantee and warranty but has two less bays. I am really not sure what to do, I am thinking of just flipping a coin. Decision making is not one of my strong suits. Hoping that whichever I choose will just be able to handle the initial start up workload and stay up and running for a very long time.
